Power Up is a 10-week summer design program that prepares UCSD students for real-world innovation by pairing student teams with BIPOC-owned and minority-owned businesses seeking to refine their branding, redesign their website, or boost their exposure. Each team received guidance from industry mentors as they crafted sustainable designs and deliverables that live beyond the scope of the project.
Mentored a team of 5 UCSD students studying marketing and UI/UX in a 10-week summer design program that prepares UCSD students for real-world innovation by partnering with and revamping the brand of local, BIPOC-owned and minority-owned businesses
Guided the student teams in refining and implementing new branding, a redesign for the local business’s website, and boost the business’s exposure through digital marketing.
Delivered guidance as an industry mentor to ensure that the team crafted sustainable designs and deliverables that live beyond the scope of the project.

Managed this non-profit's social media and marketing presence on Instagram by posting about its weekly food pantry service, breadth of social services, and events such as career fairs
Created pitch decks that served as sponsorship packet material shared with local businesses and community leaders interested in working with (or donating to) Third Parent Family

MIFE Step Challenge Co-chair
Make Irvine Fun For Everyone (MIFE) is an Employee Resource Group at Western Digital.
Organized a 4-week long initiative to increase physical activity around the office and awareness of the company’s on-premise health & wellness resources
Coordinated weekly walking routes for 246 participants who achieved a total of 66,508,812 steps by the end of the challenge
Raised a total of $4,500 in sponsorships from various departmental executives with the planning committee for giveaway items
Coordinated with outside vendors, health experts, and company executives who could speak to the mission of the Step Challenge at the event’s opening and closing ceremony events

Summer Multicultural Leadership Institute
Case Study Winner & Participant
The Summer Multicultural Leadership Institute (SMLI) is UC Irvine’s annual summer program for 50 incoming freshmen. Students who apply and are accepted into this program are provided an introduction to student life, campus climate, and social justice education. This weekend program, which occurs in August, includes workshops that address dialogue facilitation, conflict-resolution, and various diversity and social justice topics.
